Joseph Blanco Lopez

Joseph, a passionate online gamer and computer enthusiast known for his gentle smile and demeanor was 17 years of age. Growing up Joseph was shy, reserved and preferred to keep to himself. With the exception of his brothers, Damien and Franky Jr. whom he loved to play with.

Despite his quiet nature, Joseph always managed to spread joy without ever asking for anything in return. Everyone knew that when Grandpa needed help with his computer or electronics, he would be the one to jump in and fix them. When electronics were purchased or repaired, Joseph was always the go to man for recommendations on the best brands to buy.

He had a particular fondness for pepperoni pizza from Little Caeser's and growing up he loved watching movies with his mother and brothers. Grandpa would drop them off at the movies and they would run all-day marathons, seeing as many movies as they could. After, they would walk over to one of the local restaurants and enjoy dinner together as a family. Joseph cherished his many family trips to Gainesville, Texas, and Oklahoma. Enjoying adventures to theme parks, various state parks and visiting his Grandma. Joseph’s kind spirit touched everyone who knew him and he will be profoundly missed by his family, friends and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Joseph was a resident of Pharr, Texas and attended the PSJA School District.

He is survived with deep sorrow by his parents Jean Nicole Lopez, Francisco Lopez and his biological father Daniel Gleason of Gainesville, Texas. His brothers, Frank Jr. Lopez, and Damien Lopez; his grandparents, Fidel Garcia and Rosita Solis Neu; +Francisco and Juana Lopez, his great grand parents, +Refugio J. Garcia and +Edecia Garcia, +Jose Blanco Solis and Juanita Solis; his aunt Jacqueline N. Garcia and uncle Fidel F. Garcia Jr., Jesus Garcia and many cousins, uncles and other family members.

A viewing will be held at Funeraria Del Angel on Thursday, June 6, 2024 from 5pm to 10pm with a prayer service at 7pm. Services will continue Friday, June 7, 2024 with a funeral service at 10am followed by burial at 11am at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens.
