Jose Alvarez, 74, went to be with the Lord on September 14, 2016 in Edinburg.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lala Alvarez; his children, Alex (Maggie) Alvarez, Armando (Natalia) Alvarez and Sally (Cesar) Garza. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Cesar Garza, Jr., Thomas Garza, Mathew Garza, Abigail Alvarez, Zack Alvarez, Isabella Alvarez and Max Alvarez.
Family will receive friends today, Thursday, September 15, 2016 at Palm Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Pharr from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 16, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. at Palm Valley Funeral Home Chapel in Pharr.
Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Palm Valley Funeral Home in Pharr.
