Guadalupe Ruiz

She is preceded in death by her parents, Donaciano and Manuela Lara; her two brothers, Juan Lara and Alfonso Lara; and her two sisters, Agustina Rocha and Tomasa Ordóñez.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Raúl Alberto Ruiz; her three sons, Héctor Ruiz, Raúl Alberto Ruiz, Jr. and Eduardo (Lalo) Ruiz; her four grandchildren, Stephanie Ruiz, Samantha Ruiz, Hector Ruiz Jr., and Carissa Ruiz; and her great-grandson, José Antonio Compeán Jr. She is also survived by her siblings, Frank Lara, Benita Luna and Juanita Betancourt.

Guadalupe loved dancing, cooking, taking care of her garden and plants, shopping, and decorating her home. Her love and dedication to her family and hobbies will always remain in the hearts of those who knew her.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, departing from Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley Funeral Home in Pharr, Texas at 9:30 a.m., for a service at Templo El Admirable Church at 10:00 a.m. in San Juan, Texas, followed by burial at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr, Texas.

Funeral services are under the direction of Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr.
