Born in Fort Myers, Florida, he had lived in LaBelle, Florida, all his life. Erik was a golden-hearted young man; he saw the best in people. He was a loving and caring son, brother, grandson, nephew, and friend. Erik was very disciplined with his goals; anything Erik set his heart to, he would accomplish. He accomplished his main goal; he graduated on December 5, 2023, with his Bachelor of Science in Nursing. -Making all his family proud of his dreams. He enjoyed gatherings, hunting, playing video games, and making BBQs for family and friends. Mr. Salinas was a great friend and always looked after those around him. His family and friends will greatly miss his beautiful smile and unique personality.
His paternal grandparents, Hipolito Sr. and Maria Ana Salinas, preceded him.
Erik is survived by his beloved parents, Hipolito Jr. and Gladys Salinas; three siblings, Hipolito Salinas III, Yamilex Salinas, Ivan Andres Salinas; maternal grandparents, Alfredo and Consuelo Gonzalez; and extended numerous family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 5 pm to 10 pm, with a rosary at 7 pm, on Friday, February 23, 2024, at Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr. A catholic mass will held at 10 am on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in McAllen. Burial will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the care of Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley of Pharr.
