Criselda was a beloved mother, sister and friend. To those that knew her best, she was an exceptional person. Criselda had many hobbies but her favorite pastimes included reading, music, all kinds but especially seeing live performances, camping, shopping and going out to eat. She was fortunate to love her occupation and retired as a reading teacher. She had strong faith and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in McAllen 1. Criselda had numerous friends and a passion for fashion. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Criselda is survived by her beloved children, Cory Trevino, Cary Trevino and Jeannette Rodriguez; brother, Moises Martinez; along with extended family and friends.
Criselda was preceded in death by father Baldemar Martinez and mother Elvira Perez.
A visitation for Criselda will be held Monday, June 7, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with a prayer service starting at 7:00pm at Funeraria Del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr, Texas. A chapel service scheduled Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Funeraria Del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr, Texas. Her burial is scheduled to follow at 11:00 AM at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr, Texas.
