Belen Rivera

EDINBURG- Belen Rivera, 71, left to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at her residence in Edinburg. She was born to Macario & Concepcion Rodriguez on December 31, 1945 in Colorada, Zacatecas, Mexico. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Refugio Rivera and their children; Juan Manuel (Maria Isabel) Rivera, Artemio (Doraelia) Rivera, Blanca (Juan de la Garza) Rivera, Fernando (Maria) Rivera, Rebecca Rivera and Refugio (Patricia) Rivera Jr. She will also be greatly missed by her brothers and sisters; Juan Rodriguez, Apolinar Rodriguez, Carmen Alcala, Maria Rodriguez, Jose Rodriguez, 18 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends today, July 12, 2017 from 1 pm to 9 pm with a rosary recited at 7 pm at Palm Valley Funeral Home in Pharr. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, July 14, 2017 at 1 pm at St Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in San Carlos. Interment will follow to Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palm Valley Funeral Home of Pharr.
