William Randell Robertson

Randy was born in Waco to Bill and Doris Robertson. He is survived by his wife of 43 years Sharon, son Charles (Emily), granddaughter Evelyn. He is also survived by brothers Daryl (Robin) and Hunter (Ann) Robertson, and sister Cindy (David) Warehime. He is preceded in death by his parents, and sister Susan (Bryan) Klimt.

Randy was born on his father’s birthday, and grew up in Bellmead. He attended schools in the La Vega School District. He played little league baseball, and was an active Boy Scout, achieving the rank of Eagle Scout. Later in life he continued scouting as an adult leader for his son’s troop. As a teen he worked as a lifeguard at the Bellmead Lions Pool, where he saved several people from drowning. He was very active in school activities, including band where he played trumpet. He graduated Valedictorian in 1972.

Randy had a life-long kidney disease. He received a kidney transplant from his sister Cindy, which lasted 35 years. He received a B.A. in Business from the University of Texas at Austin in 1976. He also received a B.B.A. from St. Edward’s University in 1989, and an M.B.A. from Texas State University in 1995.

Randy started as a teller at Capital National Bank of Austin in 1975. He remained with the bank through various acquisitions and mergers, advancing in position until he retired from Chase Bank as a VP, Senior Financial Manager in 2006.

Visitation will be Friday, June 24, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville, Texas. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, June 25, 2022, 10:00 a.m. at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville, Texas. Following the service will be a committal at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville, Texas.

Pallbearers will be Ricky Grones, Ricky Grones Jr., Donnie Grones, Ronnie Grones, David Warehime, and Adam Warehime.
