The  ASA Camp Alamo reunion in San Antonio in October was our sixth and  we were all so happy that Bill and Judy were able to attend and visit with all of us. Our dear friend will be remembered at future reunions with many story's and jockularitry! RIP BILL.


I have been blessed to know Bill Plunkett and his Family for over 45 years. From the yearly years at Westinghouse to our latter year get togethers for some wings, a cold beverage or two, reliving memories from the 70s as if they had occurred a short time prior (yet if asked we could not recall what we had for breakfast). Good memories are like a Bill Plunkett friendship, they last a very long time. Bill was proud of his military service as he should be, we spoke often about his early adventures with Judy by his side. Thank you Bill and Judy for doing so. The world benefited from Bill’s contributions, our society needs more good men like Bill.  I can vision Bill now tack welding an Angel’s lunch box shut, innocent fun and a good laugh was his way of showing he cared for you. Don’t have too much fun Bill until the rest of the Westinghouse Gang can join you. Judy, Blythe and Courtney, Bill was proud of you gals he always had very kind words to say about you’ll. He appreciated every thing you did for him, he loved you deeply. May your memories of your beloved Bill last forever.

I am so sad to hear of Bill's passing.  We all loved him so dearly.  I will always treasure the drawing he did for me of my sweet Vanna.  He will be greatly missed, especially at HHS Homecomings.  Sending love to Bill's family.  Peggy Wickman McFerrin
