William August Nelson, Sr., 77, passed away on January 24, 2014 in Austin, Texas. He was born on September 11, 1936 in Boscobel, Wisconsin to Adolph Nelson and Edith Rose (Gile) Nelson.
William is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Janita M. Nelson; children, Becky Nelson, Tammy Williams, Jody Randig and husband Glen Randig, and William A. Nelson, Jr.; grandchildren, Dustin Randig, Devin Randig, Samantha Flores, and Savannah Bowdoin; and great-grandchild Aiden Flores.
A funeral service to honor William will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, January 27 in the Memorial Chapel of Cook-Walden Capital Parks Funeral Home.
