She was born in Lubbock, Texas on March 12, 1969. Wendy married Christopher Hearon on February 19, 2000.
She will be greatly missed by her friends and family. She is survived by her children, Christy Leigh Hix of Royse City, Ashley Ann Nelson of Lampasas and Jason Wade Nelson, Jr. of Smithville; mother, Mary Simmons of Grand Prairie; stepmother, Dale Rohe of Austin; and grandchildren, Brayden Jacob Hix, Ainsley Sage Hix and Keaton Bo Ringer.
She is preceded in death by her father, Royce Rohe; grandmother, Olga Kinnard and stepmother, Ann Rohe.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Sunday, May 7, 2017 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home.
