Virginia Kamellia Talbot Tayman Phillips was born on March 20, 1927 to George Talbot and Pearl Jennie Minder in Prince Georges County, Maryland. She was raised in a farming community as one of 11 children. She was the mother of five and she was a butcher, upholsterer, and worked in various retail stores.
Virginia moved to Texas in 1976. She loved plants and had the original green thumb.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Ginger E. Phillips and her son, Richard C. Tayman.
At the time of passing, she is survived by a sister, Rose Minter of Oakwood, Texas; her son, William T. Tayman; her daughters, Janice K. Seale and Carole Phillips Sanchez of Pflugerville, Texas; her grandchildren: Jennifer Tayman, Brenda Swann, Carrie Sheehan, Joseph Tayman, Chris Tayman, Shaun Tayman, Amy Patterson, Felicia Cargill, and Kenneth Griffin; as well as other great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
