Ted E. Gibson

He served his country proudly serving from 1947-1953 years in the Air force and reenlisted to the Army from 1956-1973 stationed most of the time in El Paso, TX. He leaves a legacy of love and family behind him, and will be remembered, loved, and missed.

He is preceded in death by his wife Oweedio Mae Gibson they shared 68 years of marriage before her death in March of this year, his daughter Kathryn Schewitz May of this year.

He is survived by his loving family: his son Patrick and his wife Sue, his son Mike and his wife Tammy, his daughter Elizabeth and her husband Billy Lyles, and his son-in-law David Schewitz. He is also survived by his loving grandchildren Cristine Etue and husband John, Bryan Schewitz and partner Lauren, Kelley Gibson and wife Ashley, Sarah Radecker and husband Patrick, Kelsey Peterson and husband Matt and Cooper Gibson. Additionally, his great-grandchildren Jackson and Caroline Etue, Kathryn and Eryn Gibson, Ellen and Adeline Radecker and Ava Mae Peterson due in February.

A Graveside Service will be held 2:00 p.m., Sunday, October 3, 2021 at Cook-Walden/Memorial Hill Cemetery in Pflugerville, Texas.
