Susie G. Serrano

She enjoyed her career at Brackenridge Hospital for 35+ years where she worked in Labor & Delivery. She made many lifelong relationships during her time there that she truly cherished. She was an avid reader, loved a good puzzle, and enjoyed crocheting and cross stitching. Most important to her was the time that she spent with her loved ones, making dinners, hosting get-togethers, and vacationing. She loved playing Mexican Train with her family, country music, watching Old Westerns and Novellas.

She is preceded in death by her Mother, Teresa Gallardo; her Father Balvino Gallardo, her

Husband of 50 years Juan Serrano; her Sister Fances Serrano.

She is survived by her four sons and their spouses: Louis (Ruthie), Michael, Mark (Matthew), John (Kathleen); Her nieces and nephews; Jodie, Arthur, Rodger, Laurie; Her 7 grandchildren; Adrienne, Allyson, Michael Ryan,Veronica, Elizabeth, Jack, Christopher and Thomas. Her 10 great grandchildren; Alyssa, Hannah, Tyler, Aiden, Alex, Lincoln, Lennox, Liberty, Aspen, Ezekiel and many great nieces and nephews.

A funeral service for Susie will be held Friday, January 20, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660. Committal will follow at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville, Texas.
