Sondra Whiteley Woods

Sondra Whiteley Woods, 66, of Austin, Texas passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2016. She was born October 8, 1949 in Cleburne, Texas. She was the daughter of Arthur V. Whiteley and Mamie Evelyn Whiteley.

She was a very kind and loving person. Her passion in life included her family, especially her grandchildren, her pets whom she always thought of as family members, and gardening. She loved keeping in touch and connecting with extended family and childhood friends.

She will be greatly missed by friends and family left behind to cherish her memories including husband of 31 years Don Holsey; children; Trellisa Woods (Marlon Henriquez); son Richard Woods; step-daughter Terezah Holsey; grandchildren; Issacc Woods, Max Henriquez, Lexi Flores, Ayana DeLeon and Bryce DeLeon.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home.

As a tribute to her love of animals and in lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to any rescue organization of your choice.
