Sebastian David Moralez was born on January 20, 1959, in Punta Gorda, Belize, Central America to Antonio Moralez and Juliana Palacio. He was the 4th oldest of 10 children. His father, two brothers, Leonardo, and Filbert Enriquez, and one sister, Velma Martinez, preceded him in death.
Sebastian received his formal education through St. Martin de Porres School in Belize City, Central America.
He was employed at the Old Belize City Hospital in Central America for 10 years. His other employment included duties as a supervisor for Huntleigh USA Corporation to provide skycap wheelchair assistance services at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport in Austin, Texas, USA.
Sebastian accepted Christ as his personal Savior on February 6, 1995, in Punta Gorda, Belize, after hearing the Gospel of Jesus Christ preached by the late Bishop Roland James Allen. During his Christian walk, he held the office of Deacon at the New Covenant Church in Punta Gorda, Belize, Central America; and continued serving as a Deacon at the New Covenant Church in Cedar Creek, Texas for over 20 years. He remained faithful to this Ministry until his death.
Sebastian Moralez was united in holy matrimony to Betty Joyce Osborn on August 9, 1996. Their combined family included two daughters and two sons. They were married for 26 years. After he became ill, medical care was sought for him at different facilities. But the level of care that he received was observed by his wife, Betty, and she felt that he deserved better. So, by faith she decided to bring him home and committed to care for him herself. With assistance from her New Covenant Church family, she lovingly took care of her husband until he fell asleep in Christ. She truly fulfilled her wedding vows “In sickness and in health” and “Until death do us part”
Deacon Sebastian David Moralez entered into eternal rest on August 21, 2022, at the age of 63.
