Sally Carlin Castillo, of Round Rock, Texas, was born in Taylor, Texas on March 3, 1958 to Melecio and Victoria Carlin. After an extended illness she was called home to our Lord on July 6, 2015. Sally was a lifelong member of St. William Catholic Church and a member of the Sociedad de las Guadalupanas.
Sally was preceded in death by her father, Melecio G. Carlin. Sally leaves to cherish her memory Arturo Serra; mother, Victoria Carlin; brothers, Dan Carlin (Debra), Andrew Carlin, and Ricardo Carlin (Bonnie); sisters, Josie Carlin Hernandez (Inez), Rachell Beltran (Bobby), and Beckie Carlin (Jose Navejas); 16 nieces and nephews; and her extended family, Naomi, Alex and Samuel Bethune, Richard Serra, Sarah Riojas, Rene and Arturo Serra, Jr., and Mandi Carlin.
The Carlin family greatly appreciates the love and compassionate care given by Arturo to Sally. The family would also like to thank the medical staff at Seton Medical Center Williamson for the care they provided Sally and their patience in explaining her condition and answering the family’s endless questions.
The family will greet guests at a visitation to be held on Thursday, July 9, 2015 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville, Texas. The recitation of the Rosary will be held at 9:15 a.m. followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 10, 2015 at St. William Catholic Church, 620 Round Rock West Drive in Round Rock, Texas. Committal services will follow at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville, Texas.
