I'm so sorry for your loss.  I wish I could have been at the funeral.  I well remember working with Ron (and the rest of you!), and he is part of some very good memories for me.  I've been thinking of you all, and hope you're doing well.

I am Ron's brother, And I am writing to celebrate his life.

We had the opportunity to spend some time talking & reminiscing shortly before he passed, and I will miss him so.

We hooped & hollered over the phone. We laughed and joked, and talked of our lives together. For our lives now had meaning, and in my case Ron was a  special brothere. Until you bear witness to moments such as this, you can never know the joy.
 
But, this is not about mourning. This is about the CELEBRATION of his life. A loving husband, & father. One only look at David & Karen as evidence.

Dorothy, You were the mesh that solidified your bond together. And, for this I send you my undying gratitude & love. I love you Dorothy, and I share in your loss.

I celebrate the full life you made together. And, with that in mind, you both have climbed the summit of life. You have two amazing children in Karen & David, and their children are a testimonial to this.

I miss you my brother, I miss you mom & dad. Ronny was part of our family's future, his children, & their children will add to his legacy.

WE HAVE ALWAYS LOVED YOU: Uncle Ronny, Aunt Dorothy,& our cousins Karen & David.

The last time we were together was in 1963 in Pensacola Florida. I remember we kids bunking in together with you guys, as our parents always vacationed with your family where the US Government stationed you guys.

Our memories were of you & Aunt Dorothy. We will never forget the warmth & love you both had always unequivocally shown towards us.

Until recently, Uncle Ron & myself (Eddie) communicated 3-4 times a week up until his health took a downturn about two years ago. We texted on many a subject & I/we will miss his wisdom so. He had a mentoring spirit. We know this, as we see his & Aunt Dorothy's effect in Karen & David. He is our Uncle, he was our family. His militarily life may have distanced him from us geographically, but never far from our hearts.

Many of you will not remember his mom. Irma â€œNana,â€ as she was a pure saint, where at a pivotal time in Uncle Ronny & my dad's life, was instrumental in keeping her children intact & her family preserved. WE only wish you all could know her as we did. She was paramount in preserving Uncle Ron & my dad's family all together & completely by herself.

Aunt Dorothy, David & Karen, you are our ongoing family's legacy, and in times of loss such as this, we now feel the need to reconnect or re-quaint with our extended family and, you are the only family we love & have. We now feel we must know you all, if not all over again. My contract info is as follows:
