Ronald Wayne Hill aged 80 of Austin, passed away March 23, 2017. Ron was born December 2, 1936 in Fort Erie, Ontario, Canada to Harold and Vivian Swanton Hill. . He graduated from the University of Alabama. Ron joined the U.S. Navy where he was honorably discharged. While serving in the Navy, he met and married the love of his life Corliss "June" Jones. At the time of his death, he was retired after a career at Motorola. Ron loved his family, Alabama football, gardening, history, travel and animals.
He will be very much missed by his friends and family that he leaves to cherish his memories including his loving wife June, his two daughters Karen and Carla, his cousin Carol Brynelsen and many other family and friends.
Ron was predeceased in death by his parents and his sister Susanne.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 28, 2017, from 12:00 pm until 2:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home with a graveside service at 2:30 p.m. at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery all in Pflugerville, Texas.
