He was born in Mendota, IL to Norman and Betty (Poole) Faber on November 1, 1958. He was a graduate of Princeton High School. He married Tammy Zeh on October 13, 1979 in Princeton. Richard had various interests: snowmobiling, fishing, woodworking, and he enjoyed working on his Plymouth Roadrunner as well as taking it to various car shows. Richard will be remembered for his love of friends and family. His nieces and nephews thought of him as the “fun” uncle. They and their friends could come and stay anytime as long as they obeyed the rules; and they all did, so they could come back to visit. He believed kids need to have a safe place and someone they could confide in. Always a kind and generous man.

He is survived by his loving wife, Tammy E. Faber; one brother David (Deb) Faber of Princeton, IL; five sisters: Debora (Gary) Cartwright of Princeton, IL, Cheryl Moseley of Georgetown, TX, Barbara (Nils) Larson of Austin, TX, Colleen(Bill) Nash of Herriman, UT, and Patricia (Doug) White of Round Rock, TX; 26 nieces, nephews and 23 great nieces and nephews.
