Peggy Bunn Lyle

Margaret "Peggy" Lyle, 52, Round Rock, spread her beautiful butterfly wings to be with God on November 5, 2011, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born September 30, 1959, on Cannon AFB in Clovis, NM, to Herman & Agnes Bunn. Having been raised in an Air Force family she experienced living all over the world, in places such as Germany, Turkey, and the Philippines. She finally settled in Texas living in Mustang Ridge, and later Pflugerville, then Round Rock, TX. Peggy worked for Farmers Insurance Company for 32 years.

She is irreplaceable and will forever be loved by all who knew her. She was dedicated to her coworkers and family. Peggy always had a joke up her sleeve and laughter in her heart. She was the kind of person who wouldn't hesitate to give you the shirt off her back. She fought a hard battle against lung and bone cancer with the same strength and determination she put into everything in her life. Strength was her trademark feature, along with her favorite saying “I am woman hear me ROAR!"

Peggy made friends wherever she went, and was surrounded by family & friends until the very end. Peggy is survived by her parents, Herman & Agnes Bunn; brothers & sisters, Tom Bunn, Ann Gill, Kathy DeVeau & David Bunn; children, Sharlotte Lyle, Patti Lyle Turner & Beth Lyle Harrington; grand children, Kimberly & Blake Turner, and Emily & Clay Harrington.

Wake/Rosary will be Tuesday, November 8th, 2011 at 7:00 PM at the Cook Walden Capital Parks Funeral Home located at 14501 North IH-35, Pflugerville, TX 78660. The funeral will be Wednesday November 9, 2011 at 11am at Saint Paul's Catholic Church located at 10000 David Moore Rd in Austin, TX.
