Nancy was born March 12, 1931 in Jollyville, Texas to Harry and Katherine Warren Dearing. Nancy was the youngest of four children and grew up at 804 Patterson Avenue Austin, Texas with her family. Upon graduation from Austin High School in 1949 she went to work for The Texas Highway Department. Nancy married Frank Lann, the love of her life, on December 20, 1949. Frank and Nancy had four girls and Nancy stayed home to raise her girls and take care of the home. In 1970 Nancy went back to work for TxDot where she retired as a Section Head of Accounting in 1991.
Nancy had a very active life with her husband and children. Many fun filled days of boating, camping and fishing on lakes around Texas, Arkansas and Oklahoma. Nancy was a very talented and creative individual. She enjoyed gardening, sewing for her children and reupholstering furniture. She painted many beautiful oil paintings as well as watercolor.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents Harry and Katherine Dearing, husband W. Frank Lann, daughter Elizabeth A. Lann, sister Johnnie Katherine Dearing Pence, brothers Harry Leonard Dearing and Donald Royce Dearing. She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law Kathy Lann Pomikahl and husband Randy, Susan Lann Woytek and husband Ronnie and Nancy Diane Lann and her fiance' David Blair. She also leaves behind grandchildren Larry Reichle, Kyle Woytek, Ryan Woytek, Reed Woytek, Wade Woytek, Rebecca Lann Schiller, Steven Pomikahl and Lindsey Jean Pomikahl Hageman as well as thirteen great grandchildren.
We would like to thank Round Rock Assisted Living and Traditions Hospice for the loving care given to mom in her last days. Honorary pallbearers will be her six grandsons.
