Minerva Sanchez Martinez was born in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico on September 19, 1958 to Felipe Sanchez Vasquez and Maria del Carmen Luna Flores Vasquez. She passed away in Austin, Texas after a courageous battle with cancer on November 15, 2013.
Minerva enjoyed a career in the food service industry for the Austin and Pflugerville school districts and selling beauty and home interior products. She loved spending time with her family and friends who will always remember her beautiful influence in their lives and her beautiful smile and laugh.
Minerva leaves behind her husband, Oscar; her sons, Edward and John Paul; daughter, Mary Linda; and grandchildren, Destiny, Deion, Genesis, and Andrew.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 18, 2013 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm in the Memorial Chapel of Cook-Walden Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville, Texas; the Rosary will be recited at 6:00 pm and a Prayer and Praise Service will take place from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at 1:00pm also at Cook-Walden Capital Parks.
