Michael Renard Hill was born to Forrest and Doris Hill on April 10th, 1959 in Austin, Texas. He attended Greater Union Baptist Church where he found Christ at an early age. He attended Sims Elementary, Pearce Middle School, and graduated from Reagan High School in 1974.
He became employed with Christians and Brothers from 1976 - 1999. He then was employed at Mustang Plumbing until his time of departure.
He received his black belt in 1989 from Myron Burse and went on to establish Texas Soryu Karate in 1992 that still is in existence today. He was a Master 7th degree Texas Soryu black belt, a Master teacher, and a lover of the art. In 1994 he placed 7th in the world when he competed in the National Karate Circuit. He also placed 4th in 1995. He was an over 20 year State Champion in the A.O.K. He became Golden Greek 2010. He trained 24 people to earn their black belts, with two students going on to get Golden Greek themselves. He was known as Master Hill. He was inducted into the Black Belt Hall of Fame.
On May 3, 2004, Michael Hill married the love of his life Sharon Anne (Harvey) Hill in Austin, TX. He gave her the nickname "Sweetie". They united their families together. Michael was a wonderful loving husband and father.
He was preceded in death by his father (Forrest P. Hill Sr.), his brother (Forrest P. Hill Jr.), and (Anthony Eugene Hill). He leaves to mourn his loving wife, Sharon Hill, his sons - Kevin Hill, Keith Hill (Beverly), Kendall Hill (Tiffany), Kristopher Hill, Eric Ryan (Jennifer), Troy Ryan (Marcy), His Mother Doris M. Hill, Two Sisters Beverly Bailey (Ricardo), Carol Hill-Dancer, his 10 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and devoted Texas Soryu Karate members.
