Margarita Rendon Blanco, 68, of Pflugerville, Texas, passed into everlasting rest surrounded by her loving family on October 13, 2018. She was born in Roscoe, Texas on November 1, 1949, to Nicolasa and Cruz Rendon Sr.
Margarita married her best friend, Juan Blanco on June 27, 1970. They were married for 48 years and they had three children. She retired from employment with Round Rock ISD after 26 years of service. Margarita was a devoted wife and mother who cherished her family and believed they were her greatest accomplishment. She was active in her children’s schools and activities. Margarita had a devotion to taking care of others first. She was a strong, thoughtful, generous woman of deep faith.
Margarita was preceded in death by her parents, Nicolasa and Cruz Rendon Sr.; sisters, Candelaria Rendon and Eusevia Ortiz; and niece, Marie Teresa Rendon. She is survived by her children, Irene Angelina Blanco, Ricardo Cruz Blanco(Sylvia), John Xavier Blanco(Erica); her sister, Jane Rendon and brother, Cruz Rendon Jr. Also left to cherish her memory are her grandchildren, Angelica Garza, Isaac Garza, Fabian Garza, Isabella Sophia Blanco, and Matthew Xavier Blanco; and many nieces and nephews. Sincerest appreciation to Irene Blanco for the love, attention and care she provided to her mom. Pallbearers are Arturo Rendon, Johnny Rios, Rene Rendon, Rafael Blanco, Adrian Blanco, and Isaac Garza. Honorary pallbearer will be grandson, Matthew Blanco.
Margarita was a generous wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will leave a void in our lives; however, the special memories of her will never go away.
Visitation Services will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home. Funeral Mass to be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 19, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church 1520 North Railroad Avenue, Pflugerville, Texas 78660. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery.
