Funeral services for Margaret Ann Roberts White of Melbourne, FL will be held Saturday, May 15, 2021 10:00 a.m. at Cook-Walden Funeral Home located at 6100 North Lamar Blvd., Austin, Texas 78752. Reverend Jim Cook will officiate. Margaret died peacefully February 18, 2021 surrounded by family.
Margaret was born in Rowell, Arkansas on January 27, 1934. She moved to Texas in 1945 and attended schools in Austin. She graduated from Austin High School in 1951.
On May 17, 1957, Margaret married Billy Dean White at Tarrytown Baptist Church in Austin, Texas. She worked as a legal secretary most of her adult life. Margaret and Bill lived most of their married life residing on Lake Travis where many great memories were made.
Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Billy Dean White of Melbourne, Florida; a daughter and son-in-law Dean Ann and Mike Spainhour of Melbourne, Florida; a brother Ned Roberts of Fort Smith, Arkansas; a sister and brother-in-law Beverly and Patrick O'Connor of Georgetown, Texas; an honorary sister Ann Roberts of Little Rock, Arkansas; grandson Michael Spainhour and his wife Stephanie of Melbourne, Florida; grandson Joshua Spainhour of Melbourne, Florida; three great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Margaret was preceded in death by her Mother and Step-dad Ernestine and Josh Wier; mother-in-law and father-in-law Mabel and Henry White; sister and brother-in-law Nan and Les Koether; brother-in-law Rodger White, brother-in-law Ronny Wilson, and nephew Fred Smith.
