Manuel Rangel Orona, beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, entered rest on July 5, 2015 at the age of 65. He was born in Leander, Texas on February 10, 1950 to Joe and Petra Orona.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Orona; sister, Janie Orona, and his son, Daniel. He is survived by his mother, Petra Orona; children: Manuel Orona Jr., Joe Orona and wife Rachel, Priscilla Orona, Roy Villarreal and wife Isla, Christina Orona Stover, Mario Orona and wife Brandy, Shila Orona; 21 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild.
The family will receive guests at 5:00 p.m., Thursday, July 9, 2015 at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Memorial Chapel for a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. A Chapel Service will be held at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Memorial Chapel at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 10, 2015. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden Memorial Hill Cemetery.
