Lorene Margaret Balcar Taylor

Lorene was a private person but would help you any way she could. Lorene retired from Employees Retirement System and Teachers Retirement System.

Lorene leaves behind her children: Beth/Ray, Terry/David, Jerry/Caser and Michelle/Steven, her grandchildren: Stephanie, Roxanne, Enrique, Anthony, Reese, Paislee and Kash and her great-grandchildren: Justice, Jeremiah, Nathanial, Jaiden and Jazelle. Our family would also like to send a special thank you to Reverend Chuck Ferrall for truly being a friend and a blessing to Lorene.

She was preceded in death by her husband William Taylor, her grandson Michael Rodriguez, as well as, her parents, brothers and sisters who welcomed her at the door of Heaven.

The family would like to thank all the staff at Brodie Rehab Skilled Nursing for the outstanding job of making Lorene comfortable in her last days here on Earth.

Visitation will be at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home on Thursday, October 12, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.. Funeral Services will start at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 13, 2017 in The Memorial Chapel of Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 N. Interstate 35 Pflugerville, Texas 78660. Committal Services will follow at Marek Catholic Cemetery, 6633 FM 2269, Buckholts, Texas 76518.
