Leah passed away after her courageous young adult life of winning battles and beating the odds. She graduated from Connolly High School and Virginia College with dreams of pursuing nursing. Leah’s health never allowed her to fulfill her dream. Our precious 30-year-old Leah fought a hard fight and was tired; she was a true hero and miracle. She lived for everyone else and God until she meets Him again.
Leah had survived by her loving husband Luis Garcia; her mom Jennifer Herrera; mother-in-law Isabel Garcia; brother Zachary Herrera; her dad Arthur Rodriguez; her grandmas Patricia Herrera, Carmen and Joe Ybarra; aunts Roxanne Jaramillo (Anthony), Veronica Gonzales (Carlos); uncles Henry Herrera, Ray Rodriguez (Mona) and Michael Compton. Special love always for Leah’s great aunt Diana Ochoa (Augie), who was also her godparent.
