Julie, age 51, of Austin, Texas passed away unexpectedly on September 7th, 2022. Her loss came as a complete shock to her friends and family. Julie was born on October 19th, 1970 to Darrell and Tina Thompson in Okinawa, Japan. Anyone who knew Julie knew that she was outgoing, compassionate and brilliant. In her final few years, she was a caregiver to her grandchildren. She had an immense passion for music and was always a calming source of advice. Julie’s family will miss her more than words can say.
She is preceded in death by father, Darrell Thompson and her son, Joshua DeLoach.
She is survived by her mother, Tina Thompson; brother, David Thompson; daughter, Jessica Drum; son, Jacob Thompson and his wife, Vanessa; and her daughter, Jamee Krieger. She is also survived by her three grandchildren: Lannon Drum, Theodore Drum, and Noah Drum
Pallbearers will be David Thompson, Jacob Thompson, Hector Davila, Matthew Davila, Art Trevino, Ben Bradshaw, Theodore Drum (Honorary), and Noah Drum (Honorary) Lannon Drum (Honorary)
Friends and family are invited to a visitation on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a rosary and prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville. The Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Pflugerville. She will be laid to rest at Cook-Walden/Memorial Hill Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude’s Research Hospital in Julie's honor.
