He was a loving and loyal husband and best friend to his wife Connie, and a cherished father, teacher, and best friend to his daughter Hannah, and his son Gram.
He favored nature and the simple things in life, and loved to take morning walks in the park with his wife Connie. He was a lover of music, and had an immense talent for writing; a self-described “poet”. He was a very private man and family meant the world to him.
He served his country in the U.S. Navy after graduating high school during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife Connie, and his children Hannah and Gram, all of Round Rock, Texas.
It was Mike’s wish to be cremated. Friends and family are cordially invited to a Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday the 8th of October, 2011, at 1942 Kempwood Loop, Round Rock, Texas.
