Jennie Lee was a ‘Christ Follower’, loved her Lord Jesus Christ. She lived and died by her faith. Everybody who knew her could see God’s light through her heart and love towards so many. By allowing God to work through her, she empowered people, fed the poor, comforted the distressed, and had the gift of mercy.
Jennie Lee, first and foremost, was a Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother, loving her family. After losing her first husband, Jimmy, she became a strong woman facing many obstacles. She always persevered, never losing sight of her family. While living in Lubbock, Texas, she was a hair dresser working out of her house. After moving to the Austin, Texas area in 1971, she became a real estate mogul, far surpassing her goals. Working with her husband, Red Loper, they also owned a successful construction and real estate investment company.
More than a successful career, Jennie Lee had a passion for loving acceptance of all people who entered her life, many of which were young children. She became an endearing part of people’s lives. Jennie Lee was known for her accepting, loving heart, providing a safe haven for emotional and spiritual growth. She will be missed by the many whom have had the privilege to be touched by her during her lifetime. As a result, her merciful and giving spirit surrounded her with so many loving family and adopted family.
One thing for certain; her brothers and sisters were her beacon in the darkness. All of them are there for each other during ‘life adventures’ and the best example of A FAMILY IS THE LINK TO OUR PAST, AND A BRIDGE TO OUR FUTURE.
Her absence in this world will be a gap which all will fill with her loving spirit.
Hebrews 11:1 Faith makes us sure of what we hope for and gives us proof of what we cannot see.
