James is survived by his wife of 49 years, Patricia Rose; son, David Rose; sister, Wilma Holcomb; brothers, Jimmy Rose and Billy Rose.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Edgar Rose.
A visitation will take place on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, February 3, 2013 at 10:00am at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery.
