Several years ago I met the most lovely& presious and dear lady , her name was Mrs . Houng Cao, she always had a lovely smile that would brighten up a  room and she and I we became friends in an instant , and every visit as she was recuperating from and injury or surgery, she always joined me in prayer,  and she would reach and kiss her Rosery and we would pray together , Mrs Houng Cao & I,  months later sat and watched her favorite cartoons that made her smile and she enjoyed her show on her favorite channel on cable TV! She left behind the most presious memories to always remind me of her kindness and her love that will remain in my heart for eternity! I express my Deepest Sympathy to her Daughter  Fawn and her son-n- law  Craig , and her  grandson Phillip , and all of her Immediate family , and I thank God for bringing her into my life and I'll miss in every season and I know God bought her into my life and in my heart for a reason! Have a heavenly rest Mrs. Cao!  ❤️ Brenda and Tracy, Jerry, Jack, and Chelsea and Xavier!

MOTHER’s LIFE…

Our beloved Mother, Hương Tạ Cao, was born on May 2nd, 1925, in Cho Lon, Viet Nam, and passed away on April 10, 2023, in Austin, Texas.
She was the 5th of 7 children, and the 1st girl in the family.
Mother displayed artistic talent from a young age and excelled with drawings and needlework throughout her life.
Mother married Father, Cao Tan Phat, at the age of 18 and became a dedicated Roman Catholic for the rest of her life.
Mother prayed rosaries daily for her family members.
The family escaped from Viet Nam in 1978 and resettled to Indiana in the U.S. in 1980, from the Kowloon refugee camp in Hong Kong.
From there, Mother and Father lived in California, Florida, and Missouri with all of their children and finally, settled with their elder daughter in Austin, Texas from 1996 to the present.
Mother lost Father in 2013 and visited his gravesite with flowers as frequently as possible.  They will soon be reunited at that spot.
Mother is survived by her loving family of 1 son, 2 daughters, 5 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.


CUỘC ĐỜI CỦA MẸ …

Mẹ thương yêu, Hương Tạ Cao, sinh ngày 5 tháng 2, năm 1925, tại Chợ Lớn, Việt Nam, đã được Chúa gọi về ngày 10 tháng 4 , năm 2023 tại Austin, Texas.
Mẹ là người con thứ năm trong gia đình gồm 7 người con, và là con gái trưởng trong tất cả anh em.
Mẹ rất có khiếu về thêu may và vẽ từ khi còn lúc nhỏ cho đến khi không còn cầm kim và viết nữa được. Me đan áo cho gia đình cũng như thêu những bức hình kỹ niệm để tặng cho con cháu và bạn hữu.
Mẹ lập gia đình lúc 18 tuổi và Mẹ đã trở nên con rất là thánh thiện của Chúa trong suốt quãng đời của Mẹ.  Mẹ lần chuỗi Mân Côi mỗi ngày và cầu nguyện cho gia đình của Mẹ và cho tất cả nhân loại.
Mẹ và gia đình dã vượt biên từ Việt Nam năm 1978, và đã được định cư tại tiểu bang Indiana, U.S.A tháng Giêng, năm 1980, từ trại tỵ nạn Kowloon, Hồng Kông.
Mẹ và Ba đã sống với các con và đã di chuyển từ Indiana đến California, Florida, và sau cùng đã thực sự sống cố định với người con gái lớn và con rễ tại Austin, Texas từ năm 1996 cho đến khi Mẹ về với Chúa.
Mẹ dã trở thành goá bụa năm  khi Ba ra di về với Chúa.  Mẹ thường xuyên ra thăm mộ Ba cũng như hiện tại bây giờ, Mẹ đang sung sướng gặp lại Ba và dược nằm bên cạnh Ba cho đến ngày gặp lại các con, và các cháu của Mẹ trên nước Thiên Đàng với Chúa, Đức Mẹ, Thánh Cả Giu-Se, và Các Thánh.
Tất cả anh em của Mẹ cũng đã ra đi trước Mẹ bên Việt Nam.
Mẹ đang an ủi, che chở, và ban phước lành cho các con của Mẹ, một trai, hai gái, năm người cháu, và bốn chít.

As best friends of Fawn Vocao, we are express our deepest condolence to her mom, Huong Ta Cao’s passed away. The world loses a longevity human being, a daughter missed her lovely mon, and friends and their families lose one of their best friends. Definitely, this great mom will live in our innerest heart forever.

Hi Fawn,
I am so sorry to hear about your mother. I know she was loved by you and will be missed by her family. She was very lucky to have a daughter who tended to all of her needs and made her as comfortable as possible to the end.  I hope the sorrow of her passing will not linger and that you will take solace in the fact that her soul is with our Lord now.
