Howard L Lang Sr.

Howard was born on April 11, 1929 in Bellville, Texas. He was 4th of 5 sons (Arthur, Everette, Bill and Freddy) of A.O. and Mae Lang.

Howard married Delores Wiggins on July 8, 1955. After military service in the US Air Force, he graduated from Hardin Simmons University and attended seminary in Ft. Worth. He was in the ministry for 35 years. The last church he led was Hutto Baptist Church for 10 years.

Howard is survived by his wife Delores of 56 yrs, his son Howard L. Lang Jr. and wife Janie, their two children Tina Sevier and husband Rodney, and son Steven Lang;

daughter, Candace Cawood and husband Paul and their two children, Neisha and Jared;

son, Richard Lang and wife Leslie and their 3 children, Jason, Brian and Kara; brother-in-law W.K. Wiggins and wife Carolyn; and sister-in-law Darlene White. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 6, 2012 at Cook- Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 7, 2012, in the Memorial Chapel of Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery.
