He was born in Progreso, Coahuila Mexico on January 31, 1955. He was married to Christina Ann Orta on July 23, 1982. Homero was a self-employed man who had a career in Drywall, and he did this for over 38 years. Homero had a passion for playing bingo, lottery tickets, and going to the casinos.
Homero is survived by his children, Lorenzo Rodriguez Garcia, Maria del Socorro Rivas, Christina Ann Orta, Justin Rene Rodriguez, Jasmine Rakel Rodriguez Acosta, Rocio Yusalet Rodriguez Cerda, Vanessa Lisette Rodriguez Cerda; grandchildren, Alina Lisette Garcia Rodriguez, Ángel Gabriel Tadeo Rodriguez Cerda, Aubrey Renae Acosta, Ailin Rubi Rodriguez, Justin Ricky Rodriguez; and numerous brothers and sister, nieces and nephews, and other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home, 6300 West William Cannon Drive Austin, Texas 78749. Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 29, 2021 at San Jose Catholic Church, 2435 Oak Crest Avenue Austin, Texas 78704.
