George West Serrano

George was born on 1/2/1953 to Jacinto (Jack) Serrano and Sara West Serrano in Los Angeles California.

George graduated from La Salle High School in Huehuetenango Guatemala in 1970. In 1975, George moved to Guatemala City permanently.

In 1976, George had a son from a previous marriage named Christopher Serrano.

In 1980 George met Elizabeth (Liz) Serrano (and Aries Silva) in Guatemala City. George and Liz went on to have one more child, Pamela Serrano in 1983. They were married for 41 years.

In 2018 George retired from being a Hardware Electronics Engineer after 30 years. He spent his remaining time traveling with Liz, spending time with his grandchildren and fixing up their new house.

George was preceded in death by his son Christopher Serrano in January 2022.

He is survived by his loving wife Elizabeth Serrano, his oldest son Aries Silva and wife Claudia Silva, his daughter Pamela Mallory and her husband Scott Mallory and his grandchildren; Arianna and Monica Silva, Bennett, Juliette and Weston Mallory.

A celebration of life will be held at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks funeral home,14501 North Interstate Hwy 35, Pflugerville, Texas on November 11, 2022 at 2:00 p.m.
