Freddie Eugene Jones Jr.

Freddie professed a hope in Christ at an early age and was baptized at the Sagemont Baptist Church in Houston, Texas.

After graduation from Clearbrook High School in 1997, Freddie attended San Jacinto Community College. He later moved to Austin, Texas and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from the University of Phoenix. Freddie was employed by the Progressive Insurance Company.

In 2008, Freddie married the love of his life, Susanne Guendel. To this union two beautiful children were born. Freddie’s world revolved around his family, especially, his wife and children.

Entertaining was his specialty. With his infamous smile and spirit of sharing with family and friends, Freddie could always be found outdoors grilling and/or preparing for the big Crawfish Boil at Emma Long Park!

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Vinnie Mae Williams; maternal grandfather, Shirley Williams, Sr; and his paternal grandmother, Lucille Price.

Freddie leaves to cherish his memories: wife of nine years, Susanne; children, Maximilian and Alexandra; parents Freddie, Sr. and Doris Jones; uncles, Rev. C. A. Williams (Belinda); Wady Williams (Veronica); great uncle, Tucker Williams (Linda); mother-in-law, Andrea Guendel; father-in-law, Jorg Tauscher; and a host of cousins and friends who loved him dearly.

Freddie Jr. will be truly missed!!

A memorial service will be at the Memorial Chapel at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 1:00 p.m.
