Francis (Frank) Xavier Galea Jr, 66, of Austin, Texas, passed away on Monday, July 8, 2024. Memorial service will be held Thursday, July 25, 2024 at 11:00am at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville, Texas. Interment with military honors will follow at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville, Texas.
Frank was born in Landstuhl, Germany on September 25, 1957 to Francis Xavier Galea and Carmela (Attard) Galea. He honorably served in the United States Air Force for four years. He retired from Freescale Semiconductor in 2013.
Frank married Kelly (Davis) Galea on December 28, 1985 in Austin, Texas. Frank was a wonderful husband, dad and grandfather.
Frank is preceded in death by his father, Francis Xavier Galea and his niece, Morgan Leigh Galea.
Frank is survived by his loving wife, Kelly Galea of Austin, Texas; daughter, Antonia Hsu and husband Roger of Georgetown, Texas; grandson, Renzo Hsu of Georgetown, Texas; mother, Carmela Galea of Cedar Park, Texas; brother, Joseph Galea and wife Marianne of Cedar Park, Texas; sisters, Angela Bonnici and Catherine Galea both of Cedar Park, Texas; nephew, Ryan Bonnici of Manor, Texas; niece, Lauren Galea of Venice, California.
