She was a graduate of then Samuel Hudson College, now Huston Tillotson University where she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree on May 27, 1941. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, playing dominos and taking vacations with her family. She and her husband loved taking train rides.
Eula was a member of The Greater Mount Zion Baptist Church and was a member of Mission One, Dacus Circle under the leadership of Ethel Lee.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie L. King, her parents, two sisters, and one brother.
Left behind to cherish Eula's memory are her daughter, Harriet Brown and her husband Joseph Brown, nephew Charles Watkins, god daughters: April Gayden and Paulette Williams, special cousin Ruby Maxwell, and other family members and friends.
A funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 30, 2019 in The Memorial Chapel of Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville, Texas followed by a graveside service and interment in Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery.
