Edna Ruth Cunningham

She was born June 8, 1923 along with her twin brother Earl Eugene who sadly, did not survive. They were born to Otis and Amanda Cunningham in Ranger, Texas.

Ruth was a very kind and giving person that was always ready to assist anyone even if it meant she had to go without. She especially loved her family, her cats and her church. She enjoyed making quilts that she donated to St. Jude’s Hospital and to Military Veterans as well as gifts for friends and family. Ruth was truly an optimistic person who loved to laugh.

She will be greatly missed by her friends and family that she has left behind to cherish her memories including her nephew and 2 nieces, many great nieces and nephew and great-great nieces and nephews.

Ruth was preceded in death by her brothers Olan and Harold Cunningham and her sister Mildred (Bowers) Miller.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
