My DEAR,DEAR,DEAR AUNT  DOTTIE,                                                                                 No words could Express how broken I feel.                                                                               I'm praying in time that my poor heart will heal.                                                                    Our visits together were always a treat--                                                                              In my heart and memory they'll forever repeat.                                                                               For being with YOU always made me feel glad....a small part of YOU was still carrying MY DAD!!                                                                                                                                  I only can pray that my laugh and my love.                                                                              Will be with you eternally in your journey above. i can't say how sorry i am to hear of Aunt Dottie's passing. she was a wonderful woman. loving and lovely. although i had not kept in contact over the last years she was my aunt, and she will be missed. although i have many, many memories of her, the one that still registers to this day is the night i had dinner at her house and she told me we were having meatloaf. because my mother could not make a very good meatloaf, i never ate it. i filled up on salad and soup, and when the meatloaf was served i politely took a small piece and slowly ate a bit. ooh! this isn't bad so i took another small piece and then another. finally i said what is in this? this is the best meatloaf i ever ate. she gave me the recipe, and to this day i make it, and people always say it's the best they've ever had. my son makes it and over the years when people on facebook talk about the best meatloaf recipe, as soon as someone asks, all of a sudden you will see STOP! it's Matt Jensen's mom's recipe. don't go any farther. it's the best. but really it was Aunt Dottie's. both she and Uncle Jim were wonderful, and although i'm sure he waited a lot longer than he thought he would have to, they are now together. love to the family, Shelley
