Our beloved Dennis "Danny Rod " Rodriguez passed away on October 22, 2024, at the age of 58, in his hometown of Austin, TX. His battle with serious medical issues in recent years showed his courage in facing life's challenges with a smile. Despite the pain, Danny came out as a hero and stayed strong until the end.
Danny grew up in East Austin, the Son of Gilbert Rodriguez Sr. and Helen Barron Delgado. Dennis leaves behind three beautiful daughters, Belinda Rodriguez, Dennise Rodriguez, and Danielle Rodriguez, whom he loved dearly, and their mother, Jeanette Rodriguez; he also leaves behind seven wonderful Grandchildren: Christian Valdez, Rigo Escamilla Jr, Alexis Ramirez, Christiana Vasquez, Christopher Vasquez, Bella Ramirez, and Emma Escamilla and one great-granddaughter Addelyn. Siblings: Sister Mary Helen Rodriguez and Brother Gilbert Rodriguez Jr. Finally, his furry grandson Goldie "Bubba" Rodriguez.
He loved playing golf and baseball; he never turned down a washer tournament.
Visitation will be held October 28, 2024, from 6-8 pm, with prayer from 7- 7:30 PM at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home -14501 North IH-35 Pflugerville, TX. 78660.
Mass will be held on Tuesday October 29, 2024, from 1-2pm at St Joseph Catholic Church 10104 Hill Ln. Manor, TX. 78653. Interment will follow at Cook Walden Cemetery 14501 North IH-35, Pflugerville, TX 78660.
