Deborah was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend whose love was boundless. She worked tirelessly through several careers, putting everything she had into each and every one. No matter how relentless her work schedule, she was forever present in the lives of her children and their families. Her presence will be greatly missed. Memories of family gatherings, laughter and unconditional love are gifts she left for her family upon her passing. Deborah was a strong and secure foundation upon which her children built their families.
She is preceded in death by her father, James Robertson; mother, Marion Robertson; and brother, Phil Robertson. Her beautiful life will forever be cherished by her children, Chad Scott and wife Angie; Timothy Scott and wife Virginia; Steven Scott and wife Natalie; her grandchildren, Brandon, Jacob, Jonathan, Joshua, James, and Vivian; her sister Pam Plambeck and husband Keith; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Deborah possessed such an amazing soul that held such great spirit. Always there and always caring, she will forever be loved "to the moon and back."
Psalm 116:7-9, 15
“Return to your rest, O my soul,
For the Lord has dealt bountifully with you.
For You have rescued my soul from death,
My eyes from tears,
My feet from stumbling.
I shall walk before the Lord
In the land of the living.
Precious in the sight of the Lord
Is the death of His godly ones.”
A celebration of Deborah's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 N. Lamar Blvd., Austin, Texas.
