Dear Nicole and family,

I was so sorry to hear of David's passing. I can only imagine how difficult and painful this has been for you.

I was a patient of David's for about 10 years. The earliest date I could find for a treatment from him was 5/21/2013. However, I considered David to be not just one of my medical practioners, but a friend. No matter how lousy I was feeling, he could always make me laugh. And he had the world's best laugh! I told him every time I came in for a treatment that I only came in for his jokes and the singing. I think the last time I saw him was in January.

I will miss him immensely! And my back will miss him even more. I am so sorry I missed his memorial service. I would have been there if I had known. I would have liked to share some of the memories I had of him with you.

He made such a difference in my life - and I know - in the lives of many other people ... I hope you can take some comfort in that.

Please let me know if there's anything I can do to assist you during this time, if only to lend a listening ear.

I was at a spiritual book club years ago when I heard a woman raving about a body worker who helped relieve her pain. Having been in a car accident many years prior where my head hit the windshield and I was knocked unconscious, my ears perked right up. I soon made an appointment. I know my injuries presented challenges to David but he was confident from the start that he could help. His sessions were different than any other chiropractor or healer I had been to, and I started noticing changes pretty quickly. Even if I was crying in pain, David was able to be present and compassionate, and never rattled. I went from seeing a chiropractor sometimes three times a week to eventually being able to go months without a session...a real miracle. I adored his high decibel joy, the way he sang along to the radio, and how he was just so authentically himself. 

Others have mentioned David's amazing zest for life and his love of family. That certainly was my experience as well. He was clearly proud of Nicole, the kids and grandkids, and adored them all. He leaves a big void. 

I am grateful I knew him, that he was able to help me while he served his purpose, and that he allowed me to help him with real estate in the last months. Home is where the heart is, and David's was filled with warmth and love.  

David was a big guy with a big smile and a big laugh! He was always kind and always willing to lend a hand.  I remember his positive way of looking at life even in the hard times. He was very curious and conversational about the Lord and what he thought about scripture. He loved his family. He was a loving man and I will miss his presence here, but I know he is now fulfilled and satisfied in Perfect Love, laughing with God!

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. David was surely a one of a kind individual. He was always larger than life and someone who, once you met him, you would never forget. I have many fond memories of David throughout the many years and he will truly be missed. I offer you my prayers and blessings to you all during the time. I wish you all my best.



I can’t help but think that David’s heart was just too big for such a small world!  He freely gave of himself to anyone who needed healing and was a walking manifestation of Divine love.  He was one of those rare people who lit up the lives of everyone he met.  

He was a gentle giant and almost always full of laughter.  But on the rare occasion when someone dared cause offense to his beloved family, he was a ferocious warrior devoted to protecting his loved ones.  

Nicole, I wish you could have seen how his face lit up like a kid at Christmas every time you called him!  It was always obvious how much he adored you, and my heart is broken for you at his loss.  Rebecca, he always spoke of you with so much pride and love!  Know that he will always be in your heart and on your side no matter what.

David was such a good friend to me and a giver of wise counsel when I needed a “Dad” opinion on things I couldn’t talk to my own Daddy about.  His gift of healing was amazing and powerful, and I feel blessed to have known him.  He is appreciated and loved and will be forever missed.  

You all are in my thoughts and in my heart, and I wish you the peace that passes all understanding and the solace of his memory as a wonderful, loving, and devoted husband and father.  

I only met David twice and in those two sessions he shared his past, his current struggles,  his evolving philosophy and his love for his family.  To me he was my "Muscle Mechanic ", a very talented man and a unique special spirit. Rest In Paradise my Brother.

I have only known David for a few months. But I really enjoyed talking to him. He was true to himself. And that's what really liked about him. Rest in Peace my friend.

When i meet David we hit it off. We started talking something was said aboit family, I was talking about Drs. and  what was going on with me. He said that was what he does. We talk for a 30 minutes, I got his card and  said I will call him. So I called on Tuesday to set up an appointment. Elizabeth answered and told me that he passed away on Monday. My deepest condolences to the family. David was a giant in person and a greater giant in his work. His work was his life and everybody that he touched immediately saw results in their physical ailments. David and I became like sister and brother. He send me clients and I sent him clients. We complimented each other and enjoyed acknowledging the tremendous success of our Holistic approach towards wellness. Many of my clients are heart-broken, as I am of David’s passing. I’most definitely will miss our long conversations, his loud singing and his huge hub’s. We could talk about anything, and he would conclude by saying, “that’s our business “. Yes, David, “that will always be our business “.  You can finally get some very peaceful rest.  Oh by the way, I will cherish the last evening before his death, when he insisted on taking me to the Herbal Garden in Pflugerville, Texas.  I saw the kid in David. He smelled each herb and insisted on tasting the spicy ginger. And he concluded “Sis”, thank you, that was a winner,  Before he got out of the truck, he simply said ; “I have to do this my way “. I'm so sorry for your loss. I can't believe Mr. David is not with us anymore I always will remember him he was a good person he will be missed.

I am going to miss so much.....his laugh, his singing to the radio changing the words, singing Summer Nights with him at Karaoke.  The talks!  He was always moving, doing, puttering it is hard to imagine him ever still.  Goodbye my friend, I will miss your bear hugs and your big heart!  Ask Jesus all those things we wondered about and send me the answers!
