

Daniel Anthony Linan, Sr. of Austin, TX passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2015, after a tragic work accident. Danny was born May 29, 1971 in Austin, TX, he was 44 years old.
Danny was preceded in death by his father, Antonio V. “Jackson” Linan, and his paternal and maternal grandparents.
Danny is survived by his mother and step-father Maria Angelina & Rafael Gonzales of Round Rock, TX; daughter, Catherine D. Gonzales Linan of Austin, TX; son, Daniel A. Linan, II of Round Rock, TX; grand-daughter, Crisyana D. Bentzel of Austin, TX; sister, Michelle (Frank) Compton of Pflugerville; two nephews, Zachary and Adam Compton; fiancé Veronica Orozco of Austin, TX; soon to have been step-children, Sergio R. and Brittney R. Gonzales and step-grandsons, Adrian De Luna and Jayden Roberts; many devoted cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
Danny was a member of the Providence Presbyterian Church (O.P.C) in Pflugerville, TX. He was extremely devoted to his newly found faith and a cherished member of his church. He loved his church family so very much and believed with all his heart in its teachings, ministry and support. His life was full of obstacles and barriers (most self-imposed), but he overcame them all and became the person who was called to heaven much too soon. He truly had a grand life and the best years ahead of him. Now he will live this grand life in the kingdom of heaven and look down on us from above for eternity.
The family will receive friends at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Memorial Chapel with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Providence Presbyterian Church, 17712 Heatherwilde Blvd, Pflugerville, TX.
