Dale Thomas Allen

Dale was born on November 22, 1952. He was baptized at the St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church on February 18, 1953. Dale graduated from John H. Reagan High School in Austin where he lettered in Track and was a member of the Safety Patrol. He helped start an environmental company, Fuel Blenders Inc., in 2005 and remained an active partner up until his passing. Before working in the oil refinery industry, he was a Tile Setter and in the Texas Air National Guard.

Dale loved sports, especially Texas Longhorn Football, and he played semi-pro baseball around Texas in his earlier years. Other hobbies included bird and deer hunting, fishing, water skiing, dancing, and listening to country music.

He is survived by his child, Michele Renken and her husband, David Renken of Southlake, Texas; his granddaughter, Ella Renken of Southlake, Texas. He was preceded in death by his brother, Roy Allen of Austin, Texas.

A visitation for Dale will be held Saturday, November 5, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660. A graveside service will occur Sunday, November 6, 2022, 1:00 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church Cemetery, 17701 Cameron Rd., Pflugerville, TX 78660.

The family asks for any donations to go to The American Heart Association in honor of Dale.
