Cynthia Diane Thomas

Cindy was born on September 29, 1960 to Jerry Allen and Anna Rae Bartholomew in Wiesbaden Air Base, Germany. She married the love of her life, John Charles Thomas, on May 30, 2007.

She attended Pflugerville High School and graduated in 1979. With the desire to help others, she went on to receive her LVN from Austin Community College then worked at Round Rock Medical Center and Hospice Austin Christopher’s House with dreams of earning her RN.

Cindy was gifted with many skills, but the greatest were her abilities to recognize the good in everyone, offer truthful yet sincere advice and make them feel loved and accepted. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, hosting cookouts for her family, spoiling her grand kids, caring for children in her church nursery and praising the Lord.

Her legacy will live on through her husband, John Thomas; parents, Jerry and Ann Bartholomew; children, Adam Neans and his wife Allegra, Jaron Neans, Steven Neans and his wife Jessica; grandchildren, Danny and Emry Neans; brothers, Stephen Bartholomew and Michael Bartholomew; and many other friends and relatives.

The world got a little darker the day Cindy left us. She was a light in everyone’s lives and will be sorely missed.
