Curtis L. Luke

Curtis was born February 24, 1927. He married Clemmie Luke, and they shared 56 years as husband and wife until her passing on December 28, 2007. Mr. Luke and his wife would have been residents of Del Valle for 36 years together, had she survived.

Mr. Luke was stationed at Bergstrom AFB where he was a reservist and worked in civil service until he retired in 1986.

Mr. Luke is survived by his son, Tony and wife Brinda Luke of Big Spring, Texas; his brother, Carpenter and wife Mary Luke of Houston, Texas; many nephews and nieces; great nephews; cousins; two step-grandsons; along with many co-workers, neighbors, and other friends he remained close to over the years, some becoming his best friends.

A visitation will be held from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Friday, August 3, 2012 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville, Texas. Funeral Services will take place at 3:30 pm, Saturday, August 4, 2012 in the Memorial Chapel of Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home. Burial will follow with military honors at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery.
