Connie Ledesma

Connie Vasquez Ledesma of Round Rock, Texas, formerly of Pflugerville, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 27, 2014 at the age of 44. Connie was born on March 5, 1970 in Georgetown, Texas to Lucy Suarez and Joe Vasquez.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Isabel and Lucio Suarez and Eulalia and Ramon Vasquez. She is survived by her parents, Joe and Lucy Vasquez of Hutto; brother, Arthur Vasquez of Pflugerville; daughter, Alyssa Martinez and husband Lorenzo of Cedar Park; son, Joe Ledesma and daughter, Brittney both of Round Rock; her partner, Joe Rosa of Round Rock; her dear friend Anita Castro, who was like a sister to her; and granddaughter, Marissa Carolina Martinez.

Connie was a kind and generous person with a good heart. She always opened her home and heart to whoever needed help. She also had a great sense of humor, always making people laugh, even during her illness. Connie will be greatly missed by all who love her especially her granddaughter Marissa, or as Connie called her, “My Sunshine” and “My Love.”

Her family would like to thank all the wonderful people that cared for her during her long illness: Dr. Lianne Marks, Anita Castro, Hospice Angels, Nancy, Vicky, Rodney, Ricky and Genie.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2014 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 2, 2014 at 10:00 am at the funeral home.
