Cheryl (Sims) Chavez-Romo, age 71, of Austin, Texas passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2024. She was born on August 15, 1952 in Queens, New York, the daughter of Gladys Mae (Wheeler) and Joe Sims. Cheryl is survived by her husband, Federico Chavez-Romo.
A time of visitation for Cheryl's family and friends will be held on Friday, February 2, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660. Following the visitation, she will be laid to rest at a graveside service at 1:00 p.m., at Cook-Walden/Memorial Hill Cemetery located at Howard Lane and North Interstate 35 in Pflugerville, Texas.
